On Saturday, a 21 year old student lost his life after he was hit by a speeding tempo. The tempo is not yet identified. Sahil Mishra, the victim was returning home after his interview when this incident took place. Oshiwara police is still in search of the accused who happens to sped away after hitting Sahil Mishra.
“There is no witness to the incident. Few passing motorists only noticed a white tempo hitting victim’s bike from behind and sped away. No one noticed the tempo registration number,” said Oshiwara police senior inspector Subhash Khanvilkar. There is also no CCTV to identify the hit-and-run away tempo.
A case under the Indian Penal Code Section 304 (A) (causing death by negligent) and under the Motor Vehicle Act Section 134 (A) (B) was filed against the unidentified driver.
